Biography:

Rose C. Belk is a recording artist, songwriter and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rose is anything, but the ordinary gospel artist but rather a minstrel of God’s presence. Rose, a native of Pineville, North Carolina, began singing as a small child and gave her life to Christ at the age of twelve. The youngest of eight children, she was most impressed by the love God has shown her. Her parents were very instrumental in this impression and encouraged Rose to use her God-given talent of singing to His Glory. From this, Rose recognized her foundation in Christ and her gift to sing.

Rose has cultivated her gift by singing throughout the East Coast. She is a former member of the Praise & Worship team at Victory Christian Center (VCC) in Charlotte, NC, where she has been an active member for 28 years. She formed, developed and served as the Director of the VCC Young Adult Praise Team and VCC Praise Team III. While Rose wears many hats, she still finds time to be a contributing writer for Optimal Living Magazine which is located in Washington, DC and ministers to single moms in her IMPACT program. She and her husband also run their own management company.

Rose has opened for Helen Baylor and Phil Driscoll and sang at many conferences, churches, conventions and other special events. She ministered with Ron Kenoly when she participated as a choir member for his Christmas video shoot. She is the recipient of the Bank of America and Cultural Calendar’s Heritage award for “Vocal Performance.”

Rose was also the February, 2010 winner of the “I Got Nexx Talent Competition” which was hosted by eleven times Grammy Awards Winner and Gospel Recording Artist, Shirley Caesar. In 2000, she released her very first CD, My Song of Praise. Rose’s gifts and talents are further showcased in her last three projects – Simply Rose – Nothing But Praise, This Is Your Season and So Amazing.

The pure sound of Rose C. Belk’s anointed voice has brought many into the very presence of God. You will be moved by Rose’s newest release, So Amazing. Those who embrace praise and worship will surely sense the Lord’s presence.

True Worship

There are many interpretations of worship in the world today. Many gospel and secular artists have released albums with themes that were centered around worship, but not many of them have truly tapped into the simplicity of worship that God designed from the very beginning of time. I thank God for artists like you that have released albums that were birthed from spending time in the presence of the Lord. I have been blessed by this this album not only because of the musical composition and vocal arrangements, but rather because the lyrics declare the glory of God. Absolutely Amazing

I must say God took my wife exceedingly, abundantly what we could ever think or dream.  The anointing on Rose's life has increased tremendously.  She is truly a worshiper.  The CD is only a glimpse of what you get when she sings live.  The power of God cannot be denied as she brings the congregation into the holy place. What God is doing in her is beyond my own words.  We can't wait to see what else He does.
