"Come Bright December" is the new album of songs for Christmas 2011, featuring Rosemary's vocals, harp, shruti box, tinwhistle and percussion, and the inspired piano of Emilyn Stam (student of and accompanist to the late Oliver Schroer). Many of the tracks are live, improvisational piano/vocal duets. Other featured artists include Bryden Baird (Feist, Jim Cuddy Band) on flugelhorn + trumpet; Jason LaPrade on dobro; and Canadian Folk Music Award winners Tannis Slimmon and Allison Lupton adding vocal harmonies. This serene yet dynamic album offers a refreshing array of rarely-heard carols, lullabies, and even a Gregorian chant! This could be your answer to holiday stress and too many rounds of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
