Album Notes

I am the daughter of a Pastor. I believe the awareness of my call into music ministry was in part due to my father and mother having me begin to sing solos in church at the age of three.

I never wondered if I was called into ministry, I only wondered when God would open the doors for me to step through into this honorable calling. I knew God had placed this call on me because as I explored careers, I was never passionate about anything other than singing for God. This includes working and getting a degree in Business Management/Accounting as well as my Licensed Practical Nurse training. I believe God gave me this passion to let me know what He was asking me to do as the purpose for my living, as well as to keep me going during the testing times in preparation for this ministry.

I graduated from Ohio Christian University (formerly Circleville Bible College) with a bachelor degree in leadership and ministry.

My ministry, Kinship Ministries, now has three departments. The first is an interesting program called Faith Community Health Ministries. This is designed to help people align their spiritual and physical health into wellness. We are going to be offering free clinics, healthy choices and educational opportunities to the community.

I'm also doing some Bible studies as the second department: home groups, and college groups as well as holding meetings for college students to share their artistic talents for ministry.

The third department is my music. I still sing, but I'm focusing on helping empower others to recognize their gifts and talents can be used to reach people for Christ. It still has some planning and growing to do, but I believe there are many opportunities out there which will come my way in God's timing.. We are now a ministry department of Artists in Christian Testimony in Nashville, TN.

Life has become an awesome journey. I thank God for the lessons, the things that brought me to my knees during those times of testing; things that forced me to search His heart; things that brought about the insight that there is strength in weakness, God's strength.

REVIEWS

Great old style story telling gospel music.

Music is sincere and inspires a personal relationship with Christ.

I am an artist that can appreciate all forms of music. This music has a message of the love of Christ with quality instrumentals to flow along with the words to each song. I give pleanty of respect and admiration to an artist who shows their personal relationship with Christ through their music. I learned about this artist because she took the time to write a review for my CD also on this site: www.cdbaby.com/cd/absolutehiphop. Mary Ann, you are an inspiration continue to do what you do in Jesus' name.

Very good
author: Ken Weinkauf
This kind of music is not my style, but I did enjoy a few cuts, House of Glass and Fire particularly. I think I would have liked it better if the lead singer showed a little more emotion in her singing, as she did in the song Fire.
