Album Notes

Mean ol Stars - not much difference between your dreams, children’s dreams or strippers dreams.

When You’re Dead – Living in L.A. my response to a phone call from my hometown informing me that so and so tried to commit suicide. Music recorded by Mofo Party Band.

Animal Song – I don’t care how many cable channels you have, animals are still smarter than humans.

Julia Butterfly – I was floored after hearing her speak on the radio. This song was a gift, it just came out, and all I had to do was record it.

Blue Wind – Lucia Pamela tribute radio project. Put together by KFSR 90.7 and Bill Traylor. I wrote the music and used her lyrics from the 60’s.

Stay With Me – Was a happy little ska song about that optimistic feeling of new love. David Kelly produced it into a big pop song about that optimistic feeling of new love.

Little Time – Written in my 20 something years. Even then I was out of time. What a dumb ass.

Fool Around – A day dream while stuck at work.

Sparkling Sunday – I got dumped. The song portrays me looking at it in a mature way. In reality I was curled up in a ball for weeks in a corner.

I’ll Be There – Wrote this song for my girlfriend that was from Porterville. She absolutely hated it.

Boogie – Kinda catchy but weird if you listen to the lyrics.

Falling – Here is a sketch of a tune, just me and my guitar. Going to record it in a 1920's jazz style.

Yeah, I don't know who this guy is where where this album came from but it's the real deal. Some guy in Fresno CA played it for me and now I'm hooked. What the hell? Why is George Rotalo not known?
