Album Notes

Rotary Club is the brainchild of NYC guitarist, singer, songwriter Tom Devaney, who gathered a few musical compatriots from his days in Boston and teamed up with ex-Pere Ubu bassist Tony Maimone on 2007's LP Vis-a-Vis. Four years later, Rotary Club has released its second LP, Second Year In Swine, which was again produced by Maimone.

This is what a few fine souls have said about Rotary Club's music:

"LEADBELLY, CHARLIE PATTON, and SKIP JAMES joining THE BAND for MEAT PUPPETS covers." (The Big Takeover)

"A catchy and subtly quirky new disc." (Time Out New York)

"...mere comparisons simply don’t, can’t, won’t do this justice. Believe me: this belongs on every new music-lovers must-have list." (The Noise Boston)

"This is one of the best records I've ever played on." (Tony Maimone)
