Mr. Rothbard's guitar style is a display of influences that goes back from Charlie Christian and Django to their followers such as Kenny Burrell, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Grant Green, Pat Martino and George Benson. He has the ability to combine these influences with a fresh harmonic approach that goes along with a strong identity.
"Twin Song", one of the most acclaimed jazz guitar/organ trio albums of 2006, is featuring Avi Rothbard on guitar, Jared Gold on the Hammond B3, Joe Strasser on drums and Wayne Escoffery on saxophone.
