ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Dreaming of Shibui" (2010) is the second album from Australia's cool jazz guitar duo "'Round Midnight" (the first was "Languid Moments" in 2002). An eclectic, unusual mix, the collection has at its core a tenor of melancholy, impermanence, serenity and simplicity. Electric jazz guitarist Ian Homer has crafted his unique color tones over a fifty year period, and these are underscored by the warm electric bass of Keith Joliffe, whose influences range from jazz through folk, country and funk.
