Album Notes

Like the aroma of carrot soup to Bugs Bunny, you can't help but be lured into the room as Roxie Randle starts to sing. The first thing you notice is her strong, supple voice. Next, her guitar-playing which is modest but elegant. Then the music... Roxie makes it easy for her audience to connect with the song by writing what she feels. Her songs are honest and accessible, inviting listeners to make themselves at home in the living room of her own little world. // Her performing experience is extensive and includes opening for Ricochet and Terri Clark, providing the National Anthem at the Pioneer City Rodeo (Palestine, IL), and performing in concert with Shania Twain. // Her style of original music is a result of combining several influences from various styles of music. "It's some Trisha Yearwood, some Amy Grant, some Shawn Colvin - all at the same time," Roxie says. // Roxie performs regularly at popular venues around Nashville including the famous Bluebird Café and has made quite a splash as a demo-singer as well, earning the title of "Female Demo-Singer of the Year" on DemoSinger.com. // Roxie has released two independent albums. Her debut album, "Live at The French Quarter Cafe," has been described as "perfectly paced and executed," "smart and refreshing," "one hit song after another." Her second release, "Something Real," embraces a more feminine, relaxed feel. Mark Bennett of the Tribune Star (Terre Haute, IN) describes it as "an easy listen, with hints of coffeehouse, country, folk and a ladies touch." Both CD's are available through CD Baby and iTunes. // Roxie is currently working with producer Eddie Gore on a new album to be released in 2011.

Perfect pair of shoes is really a nice perspective of a lady. Your opener is also good. I think ballads suit you well. What a hurting song . . . nowhere ooooh! Great writing girl! I think your theme is GREAT. Roxie keep the intergrity and keep writing from your heart and spirit. Beautiful love songs. Stay real as you are. I look forward to your next collection of writings and melodies. Please keep up the great work! You have done well.

I listened to her songs going to and from my parents' home at Christmas, and I have to say her singing is superb! Being a high school math teacher, I play this CD at the beginning of class, during group work, and at the end of class. My students love it! I purchased three CD's for my family at Christmas time and need to order one more for my son's wife. Roxie's voice is strong and captivating on this one, that I am looking forward to her next one. I highly recommend the purchase of this one!

Randle shows strength in 2nd release.

When Roxie Randle says she wanted a “more feminine, relaxed feel” on her latest album, the evidence comes right away on the 10-song disc. Randle shows strength in her voice, too, which is prominently displayed on the album, accompanied Nashville guitarists as well as her own guitar work. This followup to her 2006 disc “Live at the French Quarter Cafe” shows her singing, songwriting and lyrics comfortably blended. It’s an easy listen, with hints of coffeehouse, country, folk and a lady’s touch.
