Album Notes
San Francisco Bay Area native Johnny Gunn singer/songwriter(and one time guitar player/songwriter with Eddie Money)recruited some friends for a recording project to be done at (then bassist for Metallica) Jason Newsted's studio.

Stef Burns(Y&T,Huey Lewis)& Marke "JellyRoll" Burgstahler(Greg Allman Band)were chosen to do all guitars.

The only man that could provide the HeartBeat for the songs (as well as the Brotherhood that was forming)was drummer Donny Baldwin (Jerry Garcia, Jefferson Starship).

John Prock came highly recommended by Brad Gillis (Night Ranger)to lay down the bass. The keyboard parts were done by Billy Slais (Cold Blood)who co-wrote River or A Stream with Johnny.

Blues man Alan"Chili"Green (Pacific Brass & Electric) played the harmonica. The band had such a good time in the studio they decided to take it out.

And thus The Royal Doggs were born.

Some changes were made over time, and now we have Tiran Porter on bass and Dale Ockerman on keyboards.

Both are former members of The Doobie Brothers.

We at Gunn Productions are sure you will enjoy listening to this music as much as their live audiences do! Cheers!

Great sound and lyrics
It would have been nice to have more songs on the CD but the ones on there were awesome. Would like to have the words to the songs included, I am learning sign language. Waiting for another release.
