About the CD:
The centerpiece of "Comfort in Knowing" is the Park Song. This walk in a musical park follows a theme set forth by a narrator acting as a guide. Various areas are distinguished by songs representing the experiences of different people. All of the songs on this cd revolve around the Park Song, they are connected in some way. At the outer limits is the enigmatic 'Sometimes Why'.
About the Artist:
Roy Douglas is a singer-songwriter living in the Pacific Northwest. His influences range across a spectrum of traditional, avant-garde, and mainstream music. His biggest inspiration is the ever constant - ever changing melody, rhythm, timbre, and lyric poetry of life and living. Through the stories he tells, his compositions are accessible and innovative, shaped by tempo and tonality, balanced with dynamics and inflection, creating a body of work which reflects the unity, continuity and diversity of human experience. He enjoys being immersed in throngs of people, uninhibited conversation, the embrace of the open outdoors, the quiet absorption of empty cathedrals, and spinning around in circles (arms flailing). In addition to performing, rehearsing, and composing, Roy likes to read, write, walk, think, listen, and smile.

Love is unreasonable is a rare find in music...worth it.
author: Joni Johnson
Love is unreasonable is a rare find in music... worth listening to the entire song. It shows the deep feelings of both sides of the relationship, the breakdown, the realization and the eventual resolve. Unreasonably wonderful. This song alone is worth the price of the CD. Enjoy!
