Redeemer Presbyterian Church is a small, newly planted community of faith in Uptown, New Orleans. In our worship, we sometimes sing newer songs, but we also have been inspired by a growing movement that gives classic hymns fresh new tunes and sounds. This began with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) and Indelible Grace, and has been taken in new directions by Red Mountain Church in Birmingham (folk, country), Park Slope Church in Brooklyn (urban folk), Grace Seattle (experimental orchestra), and others. Our sound at Redeemer is shaped by the rich jazz heritage of our city.
All proceeds from sales of the CD go to the support of our mission church and its efforts to renew our city. Most of the musicians on the CD are those who lead our music each Sunday.
Those who participated are Jep Epstein (producer, piano, vocals, guitar, bass, percussion), Rebecca Barry (sax, vocals), Brent Rose (sax), Chris Davis (drums), Ray Cannata (director).
We hope you love these songs as much as we do, and are thankful that your participation helps us in our efforts to bring peace and justice to this great city.

Engaging the Emotions
author: Joe from Philly
If you are a Christian and you dig jazz (particularly of a New Orleans flavor) then you will love this CD. It engaged me on an emotional level that I have felt with few others. You can almost taste heartfelt, soulish quality of it. It will lift you to a place of praise to our Great God. Thank you my beloved brothers and sisters for this work well done.

I don't usually like all praise music but this was wonderful and I am enjoying it very much. I am praying for your church. I am a member of Grace Presbyterian, Fuquay-Varina, NC.
