ron gluck is an old folkie,who played with a little known quartet,"the harvesters", in the late 50`s early 60`s.folkways/smithsonian recording,"pastures of plenty".ron, now retired from 42 years as a physical therapist,started playing"out"again,after a 30 year hiatus.he never put the 66` martin d35 down and has developed a unique style mainly from playing alone. ron meissner is a native of missoula montana,and a practicing musician,playing guitar with several bands as well as studio work.guitarist extrodinaire,with varied styles,texas swing,jazz,and rock.they met by chance,and loved the mix of accoustic and electric. this cd is all about melodic lines and the songs. enjoy
