Born in St Louis, Missouri Robert Stocking AKA (RP Raw) was introduced to music at a very young age. Influenced by his father, a talented Harmonica Player, RP started playing the trumpet in the 3rd grade at Clinton Elementary and was taught by his favorite teacher Mr. Ellington ( in relation to Duke Ellington ). The fact that his mother brought him a guitar every Christmas also played a great part in his love for music. RP and his family eventually moved out to San Diego California and RP attended Clairemont High school where he played the trumpet in the music band and was also very active in sports winning awards on the football and wrestling teams. RP has always been a big fan of Hip Hop and started rapping and making beats when he got his first drum machine. Another big influenced in RP’s life is his brother’s who along with RP are Ex- Gang members trying to better the community. RP has gone on to become a Security Professional and trains at his brother’s Kickboxing Gym in National City, where they help out former San Diego gang members and keep them off the street and into something positive. Inspired by artist such as Jay Z, KRS-1, Spice One, Ice Cube, Will Smith and of course the Late Great Tupac Shakur, his vibe is original and holds true to the Highest Standards of Hip Hop. When you think dedication and hard work, RP comes to mind. RP now spends his time and energy on building “Illstruggle Productions” and blazing the world with Good Clean Music.
