Love and Discipline is perhaps a tribute to my influences, as well as my first foray into collaborative music. Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Rufus Wainwright are my favorites, and I think it probably comes across. This album's strength is some really gorgeous moments, both instrumentally and vocally. I like the fact that there are moments that are very quiet and acoustic, and there are moments that are very groovy and tight.
My favorite tracks on the album are 3, "Sailor's Prayer", about a sailor about to take a long journey back in the age of exploration; 7, "Say It My Way", a plea to give love a chance; and 10, "Something Like You" a plea to be true to what she wants. Please buy it and keep track of me, as I plan to put out another disc within a year - I hope you enjoy!

Favorite Song: Heart Is Broken

Favorite songs are "Say It My Way", "Heart is Broken" and "Gravity" The music is so relaxing and tranquil. It's very calming to hear and it explores spirituality, love, and the joy of living. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
