Album Notes

Russell Scott and His Red Hots are a three-piece rockabilly roots combo that blend rockabilly, swing, jump, blues and rock & roll into their own unique and unpretentious musical style.

RSRH was formed in the early 90's by Russell to play original songs and favorite covers. After fifteen years, and a few personnel changes along the way, the band's lineup has come full circle with Russell on slap gut bass and vocals, original member Archie Vowell on guitar and vocals, and Philippe Aubuchon on drums.

RSRH is a fixture of the L.A. roots rock music scene and has played regularly at The Derby, The Viper Room, The House of Blues on the Sunset Strip and many other venues. The band continues to perform, including about once a month at Disneyland in Anaheim. The band has also been recording a new album which will hopefully be released in the near future.

I agree with Hoodie! I just wished he'd sing "She's Not You" by Elvis, and Sexy Eyes by Dr. Hook........I've been waiting for years to hear do these two numbers! Get with it Russell!
