Album Notes

Where Ride the Blinds' self-titled debut album showcased their raw ability to carry out potently crafted rock songs with a swagger based solidly in the tradition laid out by roots rock, "Start Running" chronicles this beloved amazing live band finding harmony in the studio setting. The result is an album that boasts truly memorable recorded moments that reach deeper-still into the depths of rootsy blues and rock 'n' roll.

With stripped down production, the album solidifies the band's prowess as a trio. The songs are kept afloat by Ride the Blinds trademarks: unshakable chemistry, soulful delivery, and what can best be described as rough-around-the-edges-virtuosity. It's the experience people have been raving about at their live shows, and it's the foundation with which the band has built their reputation on.
