The NEW 2002 release from acclaimed bassist Rob Thorsen and his cohorts pianist Mike Wofford, saxophonist Chuck Manning, drummers Duncan Moore and Harold Mason with guest appearances from flutist Holly Hofmann and saxophonist Kamau Kenyatta. EVOLUTION features 4 of Rob's original compositions as well as arrangements of some of jazz's greatest compositions including works by Billy Strayhorn, Thelonius Monk, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Harold Arlen.
