RECENT REVIEWS:

"Every so often an artist arrives with a lyrical ability to convey the simplest of things. With Amber Rubarth it's all in the detail. Refreshingly unique in her styling, Rubarth has built an eclectic collection of songs from the fun and frivolous to the raw and destructive - her voice knows no bounds where genre is concerned. But it's in her lyrics where the most satisfaction is found. Inspired
by the works of Paul Simon and Leonard Cohen, her musings on life are delightful in their innocence and have the capacity to appeal to the most diverse audience. It's this very trait that bodes for a very promising future in which Rubarth will continue to break moulds."
- Joel Crane --- NME, Q, Mojo (UK)

"I was attracted by the honesty and the humor in a song by Amber Rubarth... This one had charm and a story that drew me in... The title is appropriate, it's called "You Will Love This Song." --- NPR

"You will leave with a crush on her." --- BOSTON GLOBE

"Rubarth takes simplicity, paints it boldly on canvas, coats it with a shine of optimism, and allows it to dry by sunlight. The result is an album that exudes the color, creativity, innocence, and natural beauty that has gotten lost amidst the often-dark portrait of contemporary female singer/songwriters." --- THE OWL MAG

I love her lyrics and the way she sings and the music and all of it. I've listened to it at least a dozen times in the few days since I got it. Keep up the good work!

Outstanding singer/songwriter...

I believe we're starting to see the growth of a very special singer/songwriter. Every song on this disc is a solid story in of itself. It's the glimpse into the mind of a young 20-something who isn't afraid to open herself to the world. Songs about love to heartbreak and everything between. Her view on everything is so laden with a optimistic cheerfulness, that you can't help but get caught up in her joy of life. Favorite personal tunes on this release are "You Will Love This Song," "Easy to Think" and "Chrysanthemum Song." We were fortunate enough to have Amber play at our house concert series a short while back. In a live setting, she's just as engrossing, entertaining and downright sweet. If she continues her musical growth, we're going to hear big things from her. I think it is only a matter of time.
