Album Notes

Suzanne Sterne - guitars, bass, vocals

Pete Vassil - drums

Many bands make it their mission to break the rules but few accomplish it as seamlessly as Ruby Bullet.

The NYC-based duo blends metal, progressive, punk and pop with astounding proficiency to create their unique, bedlam-meets-beauty sound. The unique combination of talent and groundbreaking songwriting draws genre spanning comparisons to Tool, Fugazi, The Mars Volta, Bjork, Rush and Kate Bush. This is controlled chaos at its finest and the reviews all follow a similar form: “I've never heard anything like it" and "it makes me want to hear more”.

True to their DiY ethic, Ruby Bullet recorded their follow-up EP 'Splitting Heirs' in Vassil's Manhattan-based Gain Studios, featured in Mix Magazine (February 2008). Inspired by extremes of dissonance and delight, the songs are intelligently rebellious. In five groundbreaking tracks RB connects jazzy art rock, thrashy post-punk and prog metal. Their critically acclaimed debut "Nothing Left to Bleed On" was released in 2007.
