Album Notes
The Ruddy Well band has roots in Americana folk and rock with strong harmonies and high energy driving rhythms, occasionally giving way to melodic ballads. Much of their influence stems from musicians such as Simon and Garfunkel, Mamas and the Papas, the Avett Brothers, and Mumford and Sons.

This musical compilation is a homegrown entity from the Syracuse area doing what they love. The core band consists of Andrew Ruddy, vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica; Monique Ritter, vocals and violin; Ryan Burdick, vocals, guitar, harmonica, percussion. The trio has played together in different forms since 2008, officially creating the Ruddy Well Band in 2011. They continue to evolve, this past year adding Blake Propst on upright bass.

The Ruddy Well Band makes a conscious move toward lyrically meaningful songwriting; their original music is strong, diverse and well thought out. Burdick, Ritter and Ruddy have been honing their songwriting craft for the duration of their friendship, the result of which is the Ruddy Well Band.

If you enjoy meaningful songs with positive energy, musical dynamics and soulful harmonies, you need to catch the Ruddy Well Band.
