Album Notes

In the early 1990's the Ruff $ide Playaz begin recording music together and
releasing our independent/underground CD's in the southern Indiana, and
Louisville, Kentucky area. Over the years we have all grew stronger as family, friends, and artists.

Experiencing the growing pains that all groups do- R$P has developed a
powerful chemistry amongst one another when it comes to producing hip-hop music. By sharing the same dreams, and being driven by the great passion for music, we believe that staying persistent will allow us to overcome all obstacles on our way to our ultimate goals.

In 1998 Ruff $ide Productions(the company) became a legalized establishments, and was founded by M.Baker(CEO)and R.Ross(Producer).
For the year 2005... R$P has been rejuvenated, and the skill levels elevated
to properly take our claim in today's music industry. Independently we have
released a few albums in the mid west which has helped increase the R$P fan base.

Ruff $ide Playaz have had the honor of performing on stage with some the hip-hop's best. Sharing the stage with the likes of Master P., E-40 & The Click, Scarface & the Geto Boys, Too $hort, Mac Mall, Haystack , Nappy Roots, Cash Money's Hot Boys,and Young Buck just to name a few. As musicians we are excited about the future because we have endured the "Ruff" times, and our productivity has evolved into a higher caliber.
