The Runaway Days


The Runaway Days are a four piece neo folk rock band based in Torpoint, Cornwall, just across the Tamar River from Plymouth. The music is unique, thought provoking and carries a genuine message which most people will relate to.

They are lyrically dextrous, instrumentally driven and their music has its roots firmly planted in folk. However it is easy to see that they have been influenced by a great number of different artists and genres such as Pink Floyd, Kris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. However, childhoods spent listening to Bon Jovi and heavier bands have given them a rockier edge than most traditional folk groups. But truly, comparisons can’t be drawn, their music is intriguingly fresh and always leaves you wanting more.
