Get prepared to enter the world of Rusheen,
hard-core female rapper from the Seattle area
with frequent hops across the border to hometown
Vancouver. She undeniably keeps it one hundred
percent real and original on Highly Anticipated
with her gritty story-telling style, as pioneered by
Slick Rick afficionados might say. Incorporating
the best of the old-school rap mentality and
delivery that we all love so much with an up-to-the
minute progressive sound, you can't afford to
miss out on hearing this release. Rusheen shows
versatility throughout with her topics, lyrics and
beats, with razor-sharp wit and dead-on precise
timing, but not taking herself too seriously, she will
make you laugh as well. Showing an unstoppable
desire to get her stories heard by the masses,
Rusheen powers through gripping verses and
tongue twisting lines to bring you to the catchy

First single: Riot (Radio). A tough poem starting
with some braggin' and boastin' and leading to an
anthemic chorus calling on East, West and South
coasts to feel it. Rusheen proceeds to mix in some
tales of foolish behaviour by unnamed persons who
need to get their acts together, and does it all over a
minimal Kraftwerk-meets-James Brown beat sure
to get necks crackin'.
