Album Notes
“The Picture” is a song about a solider returning home after being away. The song “Telephone” is a song of how we've changed using a telephone. “Simple Chatter” is a song of of how office small talk can become something more and what happens when the person acts on the feeling. Lets fall in love is a song I wrote 20 years ago and is my first attempt playing the keyboards. Go Back is a song about wanting the ability to Go back in the past and do things differently. Future’s Door is a sad song of how I felt when I my wife and I got some really sad news. I'm here is a song of someone being down and out has a friend just waiting to help. I wrote “Hang in there” trying to capture the feeling of someone who is always working and struggling. The ninth song “New beginning without you" I wrote for a song writers circle event I performed at. We had two weeks to complete the song based on the topic new beginning and it’s one of my favorites. All I need is you was written because I liked the way those words sound together. My favorite line is “together we’ll age all of our stories we’ll be able to re-play”
I hope you’ll enjoy listening to the songs as much as I enjoyed writing, recording and mixing them. All the money I raise from the any song will to be donated to The Veteran's Outreach Center in Utica, NY.
