ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Russ Brown is a singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, MN. He brings a distinctive and original sound with his first album, "The Fugitive Peace". From Memphis to Las Vegas and Montana to Minnesota, he wanders the dirtroads and alleys, looking for the fugitives unjustly convicted and driven to the fringes of the American psyche.

Does not disappoint!
Russ does not disappoint with this release! He has crafted some of the best original folk/alt. country music I have had the privelege to hear. My favorites are Las Vegas Blvd., Thrift Store Suit, and St. Brigid but I have throughly enjoyed the entire disc a few time now. Highly recommended!

Excellent
The songs on this album will NOT, REPEAT NOT get out of your head.

Lyrically and musically, Russ Brown has a way getting down to how you REALLY feel about life, love, and the pursuit of a good whiskey chaser.

I sincerely think this is one of the best releases I've heard this year.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
