Palmyra Rain, the debut CD by Russell Ballantine features original compositions and arrangements of celtic music for steel string and bottlekneck guitar. As well as a history as a blues guitarist Russell is also an experienced classical ensemble performer and has played in duo's trio's and quartets for many years, most recently one third of the trio Terz, who's recent CD 'The Music of the Stuarts 'received excellent reviews.
