The Russell Barber Band is a San Francisco Bay Area-based Blues act paying reverence to American roots music from the 50’s and early 60’s. Russell Barber has honed his blues legend-inspired guitar playing while backing up local greats such as The NiteCreepers and Jimmy Dewrance Blues Band. Combining accomplished rhythm players Eddie B. on bass and Ron Chavez on drums, with local blues favorites Richard Rodriguez, Jimmy Dewrance, Johnny Cat and Thom Merida, you can be guaranteed that the band will sample from the best of American blues from Chicago to Texas to Memphis to New Orleans.
