Album Notes

I wrote "Beauty's Only Beard Deep" while out to sea for seven motnhs away from my family, friends, and everything else I held dear. With a notebook and pen I started jotting down random notes that would become the lyrics you hear in this album. Distributing many of my insane thoughts into this with very simple guitar chords is what helped me get through. I want this album to be able to speak to people and possibly fuel them in a time when they also feel distant from everything they love. There are many obvious influences in the music which include: Johnny Cash, Alkaline Trio, City & Colour, Lucero, and MewithoutYou.
