After several years as a Rock & Roll artist, Russell felt a calling from God and recorded his first all-Gospel CD. When trying to decide songs, he decided to record some of his own Gospel songwritings, plus cover some of his favorite Southern Gospel songs. There is a strong Oak Ridge Boys influence that can be heard on these tracks.
