This is Russ Glenn's Debut CD on the AIRecordings label. Featuring the talents of Todd Phillips on Percussion and Drew Garcia on Bass, the album features 14 tracks: Some are funky, some are mellow, all are original in both lyric and music.
Funky-percussive guitar is tempered with finger-picked melodies to create beautiful, original music. From the melancholy catchiness of "Blind" to the funk of "Space" and on to the slow beauty of "Beautiful World" it is an album worth owning.
Russ plays all guitars (except lead on "Space" played by Josh Dyer)and his talents on the digeridoo are showcased on the track "I'll Never Leave You".
Tracks from his two previous albums STARSHELL and EVERGOLD are found on the enhanced portion of the album in MP3 format. Also in this section are 3 live tracks (including Stove Top Suffing!) and lyrics for the album.

Mellow and catchy - good-mood music

I have listened to this CD (alot) and seen Russ live - both are amazing! His acoustic stylings, Tracey Chapman like vocals, and some REAL lyrics mix to create a sound that you can't help but love. My favorite song, by far, is Blind. Mellow, catchy and upbeat all at once.
