The Berman Music Foundation and Passit Productions are proud to announce the release of “Time To Go; The Music of Russ Long”.

“A Russ Long jazz adventure that captures his heart, soul and immense songwriting talent” says Butch Berman of the Berman Music Foundation

Included on this CD is a track for Russ’ tune “Never Was Love” by Pat Metheny, who says, “Hardly a day goes by that I don’t sing this song in my head or pick up a guitar and play it. It is a real pleasure for me to be able to contribute to this CD.”

REVIEWS

This is a wonderful, interesting, refreshing album. I recommend it.

Time To Go is all original music except for one Cole Porter song. The compositions are unique, the arrangements are well crafted, and the playing is great. It's a heartful, interesting album with a nice variety of tunes written by Kansas City musician Russ Long, who passed away in December. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. The solo cut played by Pat Metheny is incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend this recording.
