Spike and Frank met two years ago and began collaborating musically.
Their unique sound developed into Rustling Silk.
Not quite alternative, not quite electronic,not quite adult contemporary, and not quite progressive rock.
Rustling Silk is more a fusion of these genres which blends together a painted tapestry using a plethora of colors from differing palates.
Spike Evans offers an incomparable vocal interpretation that is often spellbinding. His lyrics are filled with haunting concepts wrapped around an optimistic frame of reference. Spike's guitar style has been described as a funky retro UK fuzz from yesteryear that reaches for the moon and then flies by.
Frank's musical style combines modern electronic percussion and a bold phat pulsating rhythm that creeps inside of you and ambushes your expections. What may seem disjointed comes together through uncommon arrangements that will leave you wondering, "where did that come from?
It is the synthesis of these styles that both Spike and Frank bring to the studio that constructs the one-of-a-kind
formula of "Rustling Silk"
