Album Notes

Welcome to Austin, Texas, home to those purveyors of the fine South Austin sound, the Rust Tones. For your listening pleasure, we present their debut record, "Tales From the Bar." With guest turns by Guy Forsyth and Jon Ricketts, this full length effort chronicles the debauchery of the South Austin bar scene, told with a wink and a grin. Some of the stories are true, some are not, but together they paint an authentic portrait of the night life south of the Colorado River.

R&B,Blues& Country mixed and served fresh!
author: Jeff Skinner
Tales from the Bar is aptley named. Listening to the tunes expertly mixed with guitars , vocals and keyboard on such songs as Seminary Hill,My Neighborhood, and Train, one can easily place themselves in the atmosphere of a bar associated with these writings.Mixed with a little truth, and a lot of philosophy(Ain't No Secret),this cd is easy to listen to.Buy it!Just remember the Dentyne&Visine as told on the cd, and you'll not be sorry on both accounts!
