Album Notes

* Debut album from Chicago's Rusty Chains of the Family Jewels crew. Years of experience from performing and battling around Chicago has made this release one of the most anticipated full lengths coming from Chicago's underground hiphop scene.
* Rusty was featured on Gravel Records debut release "The Chicago Project", which also featured new and exclusive tracks from established underground Chicago artists, including Juice, Capital D of All Natural, Qwel, Thawfor, The Opus, Offwhyte, and Earatik Statik.
* Guest MC Longshot has been named one of the "Next 100" by URB Magazine in 2003. Longshot's debut LP "Open Mouths Fed" received much critical acclaim, and he is scheduled to release his next full length on Molemen Records.
* Guest MC Verbal Kent has released his debut 12" "Alien Rock", which features production by The Opus (MUSH Records) and Kaz1, as well as a guest appearance by One Man Army of Binary Star.
* Fellow Family Jewels member Matlock released his full length "Paradise Lost" in 2001, as well as appeared on the Molemen/Fat Beat's Ritual of the Mole ("Get Outta Dodge"), and Chicago's City Limits ("Cry Me a River").

I have owned this cd since the day it came out... I remember way back cruising the city (chicago) and listen to this college radio station that had this rap show at like 1 in the morning. I also remember hearing this dude come on there named Rusty Chains and blowing my mind. To think all along, people sleep on this dude like my mom's matress, but he is the sickest thing since aids...pick up this disc, you will not be dissapointed.
