Rusty McCarthy's music is diverse, poetic and very lyrical.

Bebop City is so right on about big cities. Many of the songs are pictures with no borders. Clean sound, great grooves and a sincerity that can not be denied. Rusty's songs are permeated with great sentiment and humble honesty. The music has humanity at its centre..not electronic loops...this is fresh music with real heart!

Starts off being very interesting stuff. Then you quickly realize that this is very good. The CD is now a favourite of mine that encompasses various musical styles but none in particular, great 'licks' and creative lyrics. Overall, the music leaves you with a feeling of wanting more.
