This is a great cover material CD. From the retro 60’s soul of Wilson Picket’s ‘Mustang Sally’ to the new contemporary country balled ‘Making Memories of Us’ by Rodney Crowell. It also features guitar and harmonica instrumentals.

Ron Walters began his professional music career after graduating from high school. In 1970 Ron appeared in Summer Stock Theater in Palo Duro Canyon, Texas. After completion of that summer engagement Ron worked at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington as a singer/guitarist for two seasons.
Ron then went on his own as a single act and toured Texas and the southwest United States for several years including a three year stint in Los Angeles and two years in Nashville.
Myles Wells hails from San Antonio, Texas. His musical career started in high school with a local San Antonio band, ‘The Chayns’. In the sixties ‘The Chayns’ had the number one record in the southwest, an instrumental written by Myles, called ‘Live With the Moon’.
After working his way through college at A&M with his music Myles became an electrical engineer and now enjoys performing with Ron and Berl in the band 2nd Chance.
Berl Welch picked up the harmonica for the first time as a young boy in the boy scouts. His first tune was ‘Home Sweet Home’. He’s come a long way since that time. His two greatest musical influences have been the great Charlie McCoy and his twin brother Jerl who also plays a great harmonica. Berl, while performing with the Silver Dollar Band, has opened for several acts on the show ‘Great Stars of Nashville’.
Ron, Myles and Berl, 2nd Chance, bring a considerable amount of musical diversity to the table from jazz, rock, country, soul and easy listening. There’s not much the three have not done musically, and it shows in their song selection and performance.

I enjoyed the variety of music on the CD, instrumental and vocal. Was it Myles playing the harmonica on Juke? It was great.
