Cad Gold jr. is the 4th album by Toronto\'s Run with the Kittens. This album is yet another departure in a series of albums designed to organize a repertoire of over 110 original songs that span many genres and styles. Cad Gold Jr. is the dance contingency of the Kittens repertoire. WHAT! (Adam King & Joel Stouffer) & RWTK co produced this album bringing in new elements of synth driven tracks and hybrid electronic and acoustic drum sounds that have not been in the forefront of past Kittens albums. The end product is a slick collection of bouncy dance tracks mixed with some dark atmospheric tunes and the always refreshing sense of humour and brilliant musicianship that is Run with the Kittens.
