Ryan Auffenberg is a 23 year old singer/songwriter poised to make his mark on the Bay Area music scene and beyond. His songs are well crafted, economical and above all else, they're charming. However, the aspect that is likely to hit you upon first listen is his voice. There's a haunting, old-soul quality in his voice that belies his age and appearance. Armed with infectious melodies, provocative lyrics and a disarming stage presence, Ryan stands to attract a considerable following wherever he goes.

Originally a native of St.Louis, Missouri, Auffenberg studied English and Theatre at Santa Clara University. After graduating in the spring of 2003 and spedning several months in Chicago, he moved to San Francisco where he now makes his home. Ryan's first album, "Climb", is nine songs informed by many different musical flavors (Americana, jazz, blues, soul & rock) and yet the work still retains its own voice. It's a voice that traverses various emotional landscapes and characters in these compelling songs.

Having played a wide variety of venues ranging from coffee shops and burrito stands to concert halls and television shows, Ryan is no stranger to the stage. Regardless of the size of the crowd or venue, Auffenberg establishes a level of intimacy similar to that of a close friend playing in your living room. It is this innate ability to connect with his audience combined with his considerable musical talent that will ensure Ryan's success.
