ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“CUT THE CORD” is the first solo release from Ryan Crosby, the former member of Attached By Wires and VAST. From the opening crescendo of “Shine Alone” to the final dissolve of “King Of The Assholes“, this record is the journey of an entire year of recording told through 44 minutes of provocative music.

The eleven songs fuse urban-influenced beats with melodic vocals and colorful lead guitars to form a sound that is both modern and borrows a little from the past. “It’s music fit for the ipod generation. People listen to all types of music now, so artists don’t have to write the same song over and over.”

While the record focuses on tight song structure, the live show gives the songs a fresh energy and features a lot of improvisation between the musicians, offering unique shows on a nightly basis.
