Album Notes

Ryan M Barnes is a full musician, playing an obscene amount of instruments ranging from the Dijaridoo to the violin, and almost everything in between! Ryan has music in his blood; music started for him while he was trying to impress a girl in fifth grade, so he picked up the violin. Being abandoned at his home church on Sunday afternoons, he had nothing to do but play with an old piano, which he worked at week after week after week. A need to play music while at the beach, he taught himself guitar. His church needed a drummer, so he learned to play drums. And on and on and on...

Born and raised in Fresno, California, he played music all through school and eventually wound up in Atlanta playing full time while recording background music and helping to produce some then-unknown talent.

He has the musical-Midas touch, finding music everywhere! Making a drum set out of old coffee cans and water bottles, a tunable bass out of shipping rubber bands and pencils, and even a slide whistle out of a milkshake straw! When you hear his music, you will hear original wonders that are drawn from deep inside his soul, music carved out of the love of music. Enjoy it and tell others about it!
