ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
" 'Embracing Imperfections' is my debut independent album, recorded in my Marseille apartment. With the exception of one back up vocal, all parts were written and performed by myself. I used a combination of live acoustic instruments, electronic instruments, synthesized sounds, and make-shift instruments including bottles, boxes, and body parts. The aptly named record is about doing what you can with what you have, not waiting on money or opportunities, and striving for quality while not expecting perfection. Many of the lyrics are on the theme of recognizing, struggling with, and accepting the many faults within ourselves. I'm very excited to share these songs with you and I hope you are blessed by them!" -RSL
