RythmOil was a love potion sold on Beale Street in the heart of Memphis at the turn of the last century.

RythmOil the band is a musical potion which effectively mixes, blues, rock, R&B, pseudo jazz, folk and just plain good music with a high energy level.

Great arrangements with excellent guitar playing and soulful vocals are the trademarks of this songwriting duo of Mike Hall and Kevin Pennick.

Both hail from Chicago but have been residing in Phoenix,Arizona for the last eight years.

Mike's background is with a terrific blues band from Chicago named the Liquid Crhome Blues Band featuring a guitar virtuoso named JB Ritchie.

They opened for all the relavent blues artists reknowned nationally and locally in Chicago.

Kevin started as a folk singing smart assed comedian and went from there to several ventures which yielded little in the way of success.

Playing blues, jazz, folk, rock and everything in between, Kevin's best stuff can be evidenced when Mike and him are combining their talents in the form of RythmOil.
