Album Notes

The "Didn't C It" EP is the first shot fired in a barrage leading up to the release of SABATTA’s second album EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES.

Starting with the title track this E.P. lays out the SABATTA manifesto for 08, 09 and beyond. A riff to rattle your bones blisters through your speakers and you know it’s about to go down!

Next up is the album’s title track – Emperor’s New Clothes – juxtaposing a clean hypnotic guitar pattern that moves like a waltz with the crushing power chords of the chorus the whole song, it’s all tired together by any amazing vocal performance that will be glued into your mind.

Raw is a bonus track – it’s a track that never appeared on the “princess raw” album – a crowd favourite at gigs this songs was meant to help spearhead their debut didn’t get recorded in time – here we have

Ain’t No One Alive – with is crushing riff and disturbing subject matter is a journey into the psyche of a soul lost and alone, deserted and abandoned this mind searches for answers in the dark bleakness of night – will the be found?

As a precursor to the impending event that is the ENC album the EP is perfect – classy and classic riff served up raw with evocative and relevant lyrics and memorable melodies. This is going to be some of the best rock music you have ever heard!
