Album Notes

Sabertooth Tiger started in 2002 in Los Angeles. We just finished recording our first record, "Extinction is Inevitable," which was finished in June, 2005.

Also, we have a 7 inch out on GSL (www.goldstandardlabs.com) as a part of their "Special 12 Seven Inch Series." Check it out.

Aaron Farley plays guitar and Chris Burnett plays bass, and both share the vocals. On Drums, the record features Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta) and Erin Garcia (Brother Reade). Currently, we have Dave Ferrara on the drums.

We tend to write songs about the world, and not necessarily about ourselves, although the two are most certainly connected. We tend to shun the notion of the pained artist that only reflects a narcissistic vision of the world, and prefer to look at people and events in a way that should involve all of us.
