Album Notes

Sachin Dave (30) and Avni Dave Kancherla (27) are musicians based in Nairobi, Kenya and New York who have been utilising their musical talents, discovered at an extremely young age, exclusively for raising funds for various charitable projects and institutions since 1986. Through the Sachin and Avni Dave Foundation, they have raised over Kshs 22 million to date for various causes including the plight of the physically and visually challenged, polio eradication, rehabilitation of street children and most recently, education of the girl child.

They have been recognised by various insitutions and awarded the Head of State Commendation (HSC) by the Kenya Government. In July 2007, they were named one of Top 100 Most Influential Kenyans by the renowned Standard Newspapers.
They are honoured to be completing 25 years of community service and philanthropy in 2011, and hope to continue to assist in serving the Kenyan and global communities at large for several years to come.
