This is the fourth CD from the now five-time Down Beat Award-Winning Collegiate vocal jazz ensemble program under the direction of composer and arranger Kerry Marsh. The centerpiece of this effort is an ambitious four-movement wordless vocal suite composed specifically for the members of the Sacramento State Jazz Singers. Also included are strong tracks from C-Sus and previous Jazz Singers groups, including a lush "Silent Night", a great Kurt Elling lyric on "Esperanto", Dave Barduhn's hard-swinging "Tea For Two", and Julia Dollison's dark reharmonization of "In a Mellow Tone".
