Album Notes

Sahffi is an all original artist based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Her style of music is a spontaneous blend of rock, folk and blues, stemming from her early love of classical music. She began her musical career at an early age with the French horn. After graduating from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Sahffi went on a soul searching journey to find her true calling. She has been a music therapist, a music teacher, and a lead singer in cover bands. Throughout her whole musical career, Sahffi had a driving need to write intensly inspired songs and lyrics. She finally gave into this need and became a solo artist in 2001. Sahffi's debut album, "...and i am not sorry.", released in June, 2003, was recorded at Peabody Studios and mastered at Skinny Girl Studios, both in Baltimore. The album reveals a truly seasoned artist, poet and musician. Her voice, praised as "inspiring", "magical" and "bewitching", soars above her dynamic guitar playing, while her music weaves in and out of expressions known only to the soul. Sahffi is now excited to be working on her second album, "Turning Tides", to be released in 2008. This album is being recorded at The Bunker Studio in Cockeysville, MD, and features Shelly Work on vocals, Sean P. Finn on bass, Zach LeFeber on drums, and special guest artists Rene Hernandez, Jason Love, Ken Gutberlet, and Rob Thorworth.
