The purpose of the production is for memorization of the Psalms of our father David the Prophet and King. We hope that each listener is able to follow along with the chanter and be able to retain the Psalms to memory. May the intercessions of St. Mary and St. Antony, the light of monasticism, be with us all. Amen.

I've been listening to this for the last couple of hours and have been really enjoying it. The chanters are slow, concise, and have nice voices, and I'm sure I'll have them memorized in no time. I especially like it because it's a replication of a regular Sunday Liturgy, and not an out-of-control cocktail CD. Abouna Anastasi is also awesome! Happy Lent.
