The songs and prayers on this recording are contemporary offerings which celebrate and honor the Divine Feminine, who appears in many names, forms and wisdom traditions in response to humankind’s needs.

I chose songs to represent some of these traditions as a way to bring the ideal of unity within diversity into a world that is currently suffering from religious intolerance, hatred, greed and strife.

I hope that you can hear Her voice on this recording calling us to awaken to love, and that Her songs are a golden thread connecting us with the light of guidance that arises within our listening hearts.

For me, music has always been a pathway towards harmony - both inner and outer - because it is a miniature of the whole harmony of the universe. It shows us a way to come back into right relationships - with ourselves, each other, Mother Earth, the sacred web of life and very Source of creation.

So this CD is a love offering that aims towards healing, transformation, and awakening to those myriad feminine qualities like gentleness, gratitude, compassion, love, kindness, vision, courage, integration and vitality that are needed today. Her music is sacred; they are prayers, invocations and ways to open and purify our hearts and minds.

So I invite you to listen and to bring Her presence into your heart and world.
