Album Notes

By combining a traditional Celtic style with a contemporary pop-rock sound, the Sallymacs have created a high energy Irish-Rock show that has audiences dancing, shouting, and singing along. British singer/songwriter Mark Harriman mixes his pop vocal qualities with a hard-edged Irish pub singing approach. Mark Yoshida adds a traditional Celtic melodic style on electric guitar while bassist Brady Howle, coming from a Bluegrass background, lays down a traditional groove. Drummer Todd Nichoalds, known for his wild animated antics, finalizes the lineup and locks in a solid backbeat.

This is the Sallymacs debut album, released in 1999, and represents a collection of some of the bands Irish favorites dating back as far as 200 years.
